The eccentric screw pump is a displacement pump with a single rotating shaft. In addition to the motor, a stainless steel rotor and a rubber stator are the most important components. Manufactured from AISI 316 stainless steel, these pumps can pump discharges up to 200 m3 with pressures up to 24 bar and temperatures up to 100°C. These eccentric screw pumps can be equipped with various motors: directly coupled motor, reduction motor, motor with variable rotational speed, converted reduction motor.
The MC2C-series eccentric screw pump is a model equipped with a hopper and a double mortar with synchronised operation, with a bridge breaker powered by the reduction gear. The two worm screws push the product in order to feed the stator. The blades on the bridge breaker push the product toward the bottom of the funnel. This ensures that the product flows towards both worm screws and prevents stagnation. Suitable for products with high viscosity and poor flow properties. These include dough, ground products or products in chunks that must be broken apart in order to feed the worm screw.
